Anyone ever been married at the schmidt house in tumwater, wa?

Travel Tips
I've been there twice, but neither time to get married. Myself that is, I was there for one wedding though.

The house is wonderful! I was there during the holidays one year and the interior was breath taking. I love the outside, but some of the rooms on the inside I could spend hours in.

They do a very good job with laying the house out for ease of flow, areas to chat, servicing stations (bar and food), and do a nice job of conducting "little tours" during an event.

I didn't like the tables and folding chairs used in such an elegant dinning are though -- thought they could have done better providing something that matched well with the home's history.

Stick with who you want to provide the food -- I understand they can get a little "pushy" to go with their own vendors.

Hope this helps. Drop me a note if you'd like more details.
