Where would be the best places to visit on the coast of Washington? |
Travel Info We are coming from Florida and our visit should be at the end of July. Any ideas to help me start researching would be great. Especially anything having to do with nature or any kid-friendly spots. Travel Tips Living in Washington we have some pretty cool beaches. My favorite beach is in Oregon Cannon Beach if you can make it down there. But if not, Long Beach has some fun things for kids to do, as does Ocean Shores, the Olympic National Forest is pretty cool, the beaches are more rocky, but you can stay in these cabins right on the ocean that are fun. Other Travel Tips Depends on what you like to do, but I recommend the Olympic rain forest and mountains. I visited here and was in absolute awe of the beauty! My seven-year old grandaughter and I loved the rainforest - take a fully charged camera - the scenery is magnificent. The southern part of the Washington State coast is where the Long Beach peninsula is. This area is home to Westport, which also has excellent fishing, as well as Ocean Shores. Long Beach is a great place for family vacations, since some of the best hotels and resorts are at Ocean Shores, which has tons of great choices for guests seeking Washington Coast lodging. Within easy reach, the Olympic Peninsula, and the Hoh rainforest make for great day trips if you're staying near the Washington coast.
