IN SEATTLE!! , Spirit of Washingtn Dinner train? |
Travel Info Do you recommend it?? Travel Tips yes it is very nice. it is open weekdays at 6:30a Saturday at noon and 6:30p and Sunday at 11:00a and 5:30p closed Mondays during Ocrober through May excursion time is 3 and a quarter hours Departs from Renton Rates per person fro Dinner regular seating is 59.99 or for lunch 49.99 Dome seating for dinner is 74.99 and lunch is 64.99 they also have a special package offer that includes tickets and roundtrip transportation from hotels in Seattle Seatac and Tukwila call 1800876RAIL or www.SpiritofWashingtonDinnerTr... Source(s): Pamphlet from hotel says it is closing in September or early October Other Travel Tips I would recommend it. Just make sure it still exists before you go. It's closing July 31. It is unknown if it will ever run again after that. I did it and wasn't really that impressed. For the price you pay, take a Sound Cruise with Argosy. You'll see more and it's way better than being on a train that rolls right through most of the city. According to some of my friends it's a must do, especially since it's closing for good soon. And I hear the fun thing to do is the murder mystery trains..as long as you're into some corny fun. I plan on doing the murder mystery train myself. However, I would be weary..as I read on yelp.com (great website for reviews on just about every business/restaurant). It appears as you look at reviews by date...the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train may be going down hill in regards to food and service..but that's only half the reason you take the train. ~G |
