Where is the best place to live in washington besides Seattle? |
Travel Info Where is the best place to live in washington besides Seattle? Travel Tips Spokane is a great "Small Town" Others try the washington on the better coast. Tacoma: It's smaller. It's safer (though you might want to invest in a good car alarm). It has nice neighborhoods. The schools aren't bad. It's cheaper than Seattle. It's close to EVERYTHING. AND it still has the mild summers and winters that Washington is known for. If you're looking for something even smaller, try one of the suburbs, like Parkland, Lakewood, University Place, Roy, or Graham. Lived in Tacoma most of my life. BS on Tacoma being safer. Head to the eastside. Kirkland, Bellevue (pretty hoppin) For a little more layed back, try Bothell, Issaquah, Redmond, Renton. Need to be away from it all, hit N. Bend, Enumclaw, Monroe. All still accesible to the city, but each have their own unique charm. I lived in Tacoma for 15 years, and i highly recommend living there as long as you dont have kids, the neighborhoods are not that nice and too much violence at these schools. i live in Enumclaw Wa it is nice if you have kids but there is nothing really to do unless you are the outdoorsy type. I think Puyallup would be a nice place to live and there schools are decent. it is close to everything to tacoma and Seattle If you are white, Spokane or Walla Walla or Bellingham. Hispanic, then Yakima. Asian, Seattle and Tacoma and Vancouver. |
