What activities are there to do at Ocean Shores, Wa? |
Travel Info I'm taking my wife to Ocean Shores for our honeymoon, and I'm wondering what's out there that we can do. I'm looking for such things like horseback riding, boating, etc. Thanks! Travel Tips yes, they do have the horses and mopeds to rent, and i highly recommend it...but let's not forget the casino for a little night time entertainment! they also have go carts and miniature golf and shopping. stroll the beach for a moonlit walk. i'm not familiar with the boating, but i'm sure they have them there! and let's not forget...clam digging! ok, so maybe not so romantic! but you won't be bored in ocean shores! enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations! Others We'll you got the two you mentioned+ -Beachwalk, beach combing. -Fishing -Enjoy the trees! Nice quiet little town. Been there twice! Love it. they do have horses on the beach to rent to ride, and also in town they have mopeds, its a nice way to see more of the beach they also have a bowling alley for something to do at night if you like bowling enjoy your time there is also a nice beach area at then end by the jedy (not sure on the spelling) you see more surfers out that way too http://www.oceanshores.com/ http://www.oceanshores.org/ http://www.oceanshores.org/todo/event.ht... When I've gone to Ocean Shores, I've always rented mopeds! Definitely a must-do, just don't ride on the clam beds! BIG no-no! And have a good time, kite flying is also fun and relaxing, and there's plenty of wind there! We did horseback riding on the beach one year for $20 a person, a real bargin for an hour of riding on the beach. Not sure how early in the season they start them though. Place to stay, we highly recommend the Judith Ann Inn. Very nice quiet and romantic place. You can make some of your own meals if you want since they all have full kitchens, and the Jacuzzi tubs overlooking the ocean are great. Best place to go for entertainment: On the weekends the Galaway Bay pub has live music, which is great, the food is great too, and good beer. Definitely a "don't miss it" flying kites is a big deal there in the summer time. |
