What's the weather in Seattle like during the beginning of June? |
Travel Info I'll be flying out from June 2-9 and need to know what I should pack, other than an umbrella. Thanks! Travel Tips If you have a big suitcase, use it! Let's put it this way...yesterday the weather was so warm we had the windows and fans going and were in shorts. Today, nice day, but windows were shut, jeans were on, and fans were off. The weather changes daily. I recommend capris and tanks or short sleeved shirts, sandals, and a light jacket (especially if you're down on the waterfront, as it can get a bit cold with the sea breeze). I do recommend an umbrella...you never know when it's going to rain. It seems that we have unexpected rain through the 4th of July, then beautiful on July 5th! But honestly, a little bit of everything is needed here. But keep in mind, it does get humid here, even when it rains. Others Right now, the weather is excellent - no rain no clouds...clear skies and green lush. I also see lots of water activities on the lakes. So you can safely leave ur umbrella at home. It should be pretty mild. Seattle in general is mild. The temperature shouldn't get above 80-85 in early June. If it is cold, it shouldn't get much lower then 60 for a high. It might rain, but not a lot. Just bring long pants, shirts, and a light rain jacket. That is good for 80% of Seattle days. Seattle just has a name for rain, but New York really has more rain than we do... Just pack a pair of jeans, shorts, coat, short and long sleeve t-shirt. Weather here can change day to day, seriously. Sunny and warm. I would pack jeans, shorts, t-shirts, bring a hoodie and having an umbrella is for wusses ... that's the Washington way! Oh! And bring a camera! You'll want to get some pictures of Seattle and the surrounding Mountains! Try to make time for a ferry ride! They're awesome in the summer time! Have fun!
