Is there good public transit or trains between Tacoma and Seattle?

Travel Info
What's it like to live in Tacoma? I'm thinking of applying for some positions at Russell Investment Group.

Travel Tips
Tacoma gets a bad wrap. there are places that are not as good as the others but not a bad place overall to live and there is a train that goes back and forth between seattle and tacoma in the mornings and evenings try amtrack.com

There is fair transit between the two however the comute would be very long. Tacoma has some very poor places to live. Make sure you research the area you plan to move to before you go. Not sure where you are moving from or what you are looking for but Tacoma has a lot of high drug and crime areas. There are good places to live also just make sure you really look in to the area first. Good Luck!
The commuter trains are actually run by Sound Transit. It takes about an hour to get to Seattle, and then depending on where your office is, it could be another bus ride across town. It also hits the suburbs of Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn and Kent, all of which are growing and becoming commuter cities.
