Seattle question? |
Travel Info Where is the closest IKEA? What city is closest to downtown seattle? 41Wenatchee 45Bellingham 56Olympia 58Bremerton-Silverdale 60Tacoma 83Kennewick-Richland-Pasco 87Mount Vernon-Anacortes 99Spokane 122Seattle-Bellevue-Everett 126Longview Travel Tips The closest IKEA to downtown Seattle is in Renton it's about a 35 minute drive (you can look up directions on IKEA.com and it's called IKEA Seattle) Wenatchee is about 3+ hours away Bellingham is a bit over 2 hours Olympia is an 1 - 1 1/2 hours Bremerton is a 45 minute ferry ride that cost $$$, Silverdale is about 15 minutes from Bremerton Tacoma is about 25 minutes I'm not sure where Kennewick-Richland-Pasco are Mount Vernon-Anacortes is probably about 3 hours? (This one is a guess) Spokane is very far away I'd guess about 5 hours? Bellevue is about 20 minutes I don't know about Longview All of these times are driving from downtown Seattle with no traffic (which is somewhat rare) Source(s): I am a Puget Sound native, with friends in many parts of the state! And IKEA is my favorite place! Other Travel Tips Sad, I live in Bellevue and I don't really know... Anyways, bellevue is like 20 minutes from downtown seattle so i'll go from there Wenatchee is like 2 hours away, same w/ bellingham and Olympia Bremerton needs a ferry from seattle Tacoma is an hour away Never heard of Kennewick, or Mount Vernon Spokane is 5 hours away I live in Bellevue, i'd say it's the closest (I htought it was in renton, next to southcenter mall) oops I mean Westfield, name change Longview i dunno The closest IKEA is in Kent-Renton area 15 to 20 minutes outside of Seattle The IKEA closest to Seattle is between Redmond and Kent, near where I-405 intersects with SR 167. Wenatchee, Kennewick-Richland-Pasco (the Tri-cities), and Spokane are all east of the Cascade Mountains. Wenatchee is about 100 miles east, the Tri-cities farther east and south, and Spokane just west of the Idaho border. Bremerton is on the Kitsap Peninsula and you'd have to get a ferry from Seattle. Bellingham, Mount Vernon, and Everett are north of Seattle on the 1-5 corridor. Everett is about thirty miles north, Mount Vernon about seventy, and Bellingham about thirty miles south of the Canadian border. Tacoma, Olympia, and Longview are to the south along 1-5. Tacoma is about thirty miles south of Seattle, Olympia, the capital, is about sixty. Longview is fifty miles north of Portland, OR. YEARS of driving in Washington I go to the one in Tukwilla (near Seatac). |
