Travel Info What places can I visit in Seattle if I am here by myself on a weekend? Travel Tips Woodland Park Zoo is an awesome place, as is the Aquarium, though be forewarned that construction is still ongoing at the Aquarium (though they should be done with the construction work by the end of June). There are a lot of cool places on the water, like Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, The Crab Pot (a restaurant), etc. You could take an Argosy Cruise, too, if you wanted to, or just ride the monorail downtown and go to the various malls or Pike's Place Market. If you're looking for something else, you could try the Flight Museum, go visit the Space Needle, or even take a Ferry over to Bremerton and go over to the other side of the Sound. I'm not sure what your budget is, but if you have enough you could go to a Mariners game probably if one is being played while you're in town (though that's obviously a hit or miss type deal). There are tons of other things to do in Seattle too, though. You could just explore on your own if you have a rental car and can afford the gas and you might stumble upon something really cool. The U Dub gardens are pretty amazing, too, if you are in the University District. I hope this helps! Others There is so much to do in Seattle! Pike Place Market, Woodland Park Zoo, The Museum of Flight, the Aquarium, Seattle Center and EMP. I know you used to be able to buy a pass that would get you into many different things for one price. |
