The most common visitor activities revolve around hiking, camping, fishing and outdoor fun. Since this is the 25 yr. anniversary of Mt. St. Helens' eruption, you might want to visit the information center - or even do a little cave exploring! Ape cave (no, it doesn't have any apes) is the longest unitary lava tube in N. Amer. and is easily accessible. The trout fishing in this area should be great, with the glacier-fed rivers and lakes making perfect trout habitat.And of course, just hiking in the Cascades makes for an incredible journey.
