Washington and Oregon? |
Travel Info im 14 years old. and i was wondering what are some fun things to do in washington and oregon. im gonna be there for two weeks. ive been there before but only for a week and we went to seaside in oregon and to pikes place in seattle but what else is there to do? i know theres gonna be a giant celebration for the 4th of july (which is when im gonna be out there) in longview, WA. but thats all i know of. Travel Tips If you're into music, definitely check out the Experience Music Project in Seattle. Its got some incredible exhibits and its architecture is truly out of this world. If you like nature, go visit the Ballard Locks and Fisherman's terminal. Or you could go visit Mt. Rainier national park which has some beautiful scenery this time of the year. Finally, maybe take a tour boat around Puget Sound to go see the killer whales and various islands. Have fun! Others That festival is called the Beer Gardens I think. And obviously you are too young to be involved in that! Longview is about 3-31/2 hours away from Seattle, so unless you're parents are driving up there, I wouldn't recommend anything in that area. See Mt. St. Helens or Mt. Rainer or head to Oregon. Longivew is an hour away from Portland. I live in Washington so I don't know about the Portland attractions. (Does tax-free shopping count as an attraction? ; ) Where I live, tax is 8.9%! If you're into baseball, you can catch a Mariners game in Seattle. Wild Waves in Federal Way is fun. |
