What is the weather like in October In Seattle? |
Travel Info I will be traveling there from 10/18 Thru 10/21. Travel Tips Here is a link to a local news station. Just like any other time, almost. It will be jacket weather, lots of overcast and drizzle. Lived there for 16 yrs. It can be pretty hit-or-miss. September is usually pretty nice at least halfway through the month. Into October, there's a chance for those early Fall sunny days, but towards the middle of the month to the end of the month, it's probably going to be cooler and overcast to rainy. Weather is tough to describe and report in Seattle. This morning someone showed me the weekly report in the paper and everyday included showers in some sense and also something different. I don't remember what it all was specifically, but it was something like: Today: Chance of showers, Cloudy. Thursday: Showers, partly sunny. Friday: Some showers, sunny. Saturday: Sunny with chance of showers. It was something to that effect, where there was all kinds of weather from sunny to cloudy all including rain (or at least showers) in the forecast. It's generally warm and sunny, but it gets rainier and colder as the month progresses. The weather will be a bit chilly but it will be BEAUTIFUL with all the FALL colors out....One of my favorite times of year, here!...Bring a rain coat...and shoes that are not suede! It's usually light during the day and somewhat darker in the evenings and night. |
