Baklava in washington?? |
Travel Info does anyone know where i can find baklava in washington?? preferribly closer to pierce or king county??... Travel Tips Its Greek To Me in Federal Way (Twin Lakes) or Its Greek To Me in Tacoma has the best friggin Baklava, i just went there today actually and got some....... Others Have you checked in and around Pike Place Market? I don't eat the stuff (traumatic baklava experience... don't ask!) but that seems like a good bet. Or try calling some bakeries or restaurants. the other person was right. the pike place market has a few excellent bakeries. one is right near the main entrance. across the way is 3 sisters bakery which is also excellent but im not sure if they have baklava. i used to live near there On the far side of Pike Place is my favorite place for Baklava: Turkish Delight. Many varieties to choose from. They'll make you full trays for parties etc. if you preorder as well. Also check out the bakery section at Fred Meyer or QFC - I can't vouch for the quality, but I've seen Baklava for sale there too. http://www.seattlegreekfestival.com/... Accept no immitations. You want the real deal. I've actually been to this and the food was fabulous. Find the person with the best goods and follow them home! |
