Seattle night life, the one cover charge to many bars? |
Travel Info I am visting Seattle next wekend and I was told by a few people that there is a place (Pinor square ) I think that is you pay one cover you can get into mnay bars, is that true? Can someone explain how it works. And where is it? I need street names and maybe bar/clubs namees. Also what are some good clubs in Pinior square? And what is the street adress for Beltown, where in Seattle is it? The area and adress is possibble. Travel Tips Ok, for the weekends, it's going to be $10 (I believe) for the joint cover for around 8 different places in Pioneer Square. Pioneer Square is just south of downtown Seattle on and around 1st & 2nd Ave.'s from about Yesler down south to about King or maybe a block further (there's not really definite lines). Places closer towards the water are also considered in Pioneer Square. There's a bunch of different places that are covered by the cover including Tiki Bob's and the Last Supper Club, which are both pretty cool. The Central and the J & M are both ok, but more of a meet-market bar/club (is that meat market?). There's a couple other places, but the Colourbox is long gone for many years now, so don't go looking for that. It was a cool rock-leaning club that had live shows all the time. Belltown is in basically the northwest area of downtown. It's walkable from Pioneer Square but is probably about 1-2 miles north. If you just continued up north on 1st Ave. you'd get to Belltown. Belltown is basically around 1st-4th or 5th Ave.'s from Battery to the north to about Bell St. to the south. Anything further south would be just considered downtown. There are a lot of different clubs and bars in Belltown of different types and you can walk up 1st and 2nd to get a good glimpse of them, but there are some mostly throughout. Tabella is a cool club, Belltown Billiards, and others, and once you're in the area, they are all walkable (except for really dressy heels for women, maybe). Source(s): I've spent a lot of time in Pioneer Square and more years of clubbing/drinking in Belltown. Other Travel Tips no i dont know Pioneer Square is at the south end of Downtown - 1st Avenue and Yesler will get you in the right area. Doc Maynard's is one of the bars participating in the joint cover. The Colorbox does too I think. You'll pay the cover charge at the first bar you go to, they'll stamp your hand and the stamp will get you in to the others. Belltown is at the north end of Downtown - 1st and Bell will get you in the right area. |
