Travel Tips If you have kids, Lake Goodwin State park near Silvana has a great play structure, picnic pavillion, swimming beach on the lake. It's a little further from the freeway, but worth it in my opinion. Others Deception Pass State Park. Just a little way from Anacortes. http://www.visitwhidbey.com/camp-grounds... . There are the Twin Lakes which is just south of Arlington, on I-5 going north. You could also stop in Mt. Vernon, which is'nt too awfully far from Anacortes. There are several parks that you may barbe cue at. Enjoy!! Jennings Park in Marysville (just north of Everett), it is only 10 minutes off I-5. Little Mountain Park in Mt. Vernon is also nice and has a great view. |
