Anyone else have any "moving" storys??? |
Travel Info Somedays i miss everything about what my life used to be like...the worst day of my life was the day I left Seattle...i hope i never have to move again. Travel Tips I grew up in Seattle, but have since moved several times, and I find that the longer I stay in one place the harder it is to move again. Though I do miss places I have lived, I'm not real excited about moving back to any one place in particular. I hate the actual moving process, but once I am settled in I get pretty comfortable. Of course, the settling in time can take a few months sometimes. Others All my moves have been possitive experiences. At least it seems that way now. Get what I'm saying. I used to live in Illinois. I had to tell people I was moving to Vermont, most people were like "what state is that in?" I'm not a big fan of vermont. theres not much to do, and everyone is obsessed with maple syrup, but I like the fake stuff, aunt jemima! but my whole family and i moved up here... i got used to it but would still rather be in illinois. I too, use to live in Seattle. I wouldn't say it was the worst day of my life & it doesn't come close to a second, though I do miss some of my friends at times & yes, even the rain. Where I'm at now is hot. I don't really get along with heat but hey, at least i'm working so really can't complain much. I used to live in NYC with my mom, but she worked in the World Trade center and died on September 11. My only relative was my aunt who lives in California so I had to move there when I was 13. God, it was so hard. But I got used to it. |
