Wants to go to Seattle!?

Travel Info
Two of my friends and I want to go to Seattle, Washington when we graduate from high school in 2 years. I've never been there, but everything I've ever heard about it makes it sound perfect for me. I love the rain, I love the ocean, and I love coffee! LOL. I don't like hot weather and the sun very much, and I know it rains a lot there. Perfect. Anyone who HAS been there before, what did you think of it? Thanks, guys!

Travel Tips
I have lived all over the united states. I can honestly tell you. Seattle is is best city I've ever been to. I use to go there a lot when I was a child/teen. Its safe, fun and very clean for a big city. Coffee is HUGE in washington. I dont know if it is the weather or what, but there is a coffee place practically on every street there, so you'll have your choice. There is a lot of rain but the summers are pretty sunny. It doesnt get too hot though. Good luck! Source(s): Me

My husband is in the Air Force, and he just got back from there. He loved it so much, that he is trying to get stationed there now. He said the "rain" they have is a light mist, so you're not soaked by it. The original Star Bucks is there. And if you like seafood, they have an awesome strip where they sell fresh seafood daily. Sounds like the perfect place.
My hubby.
i lived there from 1988 to 1992. it's a beautiful place, and it's good you love the rain. there is a saying that if you can't see mount rainier it's because it's raining, and if you can see mount rainier, it's going to rain.
I've lived here all of my life, except for right after i graduated i moved to las vegas. I couldnt stand losing all of the green for a big dust bowl. So i moved right back after only a year. Plus you can do ANYTHING here: all sports, mountain climbing, skiing/snowboarding, fishing, waterski, river rafting, i really like it here, but it does rain a lot, but you get used to it. You just cant expect to plan something outdoors for sure without a cover unless it is like July or August.

Edit: i'm sorry for the terrible grammar, i didnt even read it over.
i live there it is absolutely perfect
