Looking for family vacation spot in Seattle? |
Travel Info What is the best inexpensive thing for a family to do for a minivacation in the Seattle area? And the best place to stay that is fairly inexpensive? Travel Tips Seattle Center has a little of everything, there is the Children's Museum, The Pacific Science Center, IMAX, Space Needle, Fun Forest, and the International fountain (it's free to play in water!) http://www.seattlecenter.com/ There really are not many low cost places to stay in Seattle during the summer, expect to pay at least $200 a night if you are in the city. The 'burbs are a bit cheaper around $120 a night. I would recommend a Marriott Residence Inn as they have full kitchens and bedrooms, as well as happy hours with free food and breakfast to help save money. http://www.marriott.com/residence-inn/tr... That said, looks like Res Inn downtown is about $400/night right now and the Res Inn in Bothell is $200/night. Others check out pikes place market.. its fun to walk around there and check things out. also check out washtington lake (if its warm enough) have fun |
