1 - Pike Place Market and original Starbucks store right across the street
2 - Woodland Park Zoo
3 - Seattle Center (Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Center House, International Water Fountain, etc.)
4 - Snoqualmie Falls
5 - Ferry ride
Take a Ferry Ride. One of my favorite day trips is to drive up to Anacortes and drive down Whidby Island and take the Ferry from Clinton to Mukilteo. Take time to explore Anacortes and the Island. Pack a picnic, there are some beautiful areas to stop for a picnic.

The Ferry to Bainbridge Island is nice as well.

Go to Pike Place Market. Make sure and eat at the Russian Bakery......I forgot the name.

Absolutely, make a reservation for dinner at the Space Needle Restruant. I prefer eating towards the end of the night because it is less crowded, and much more romantic and beautiful.
You can go from the ocean to the mountains in a matter of hours.
You have salt water, and fresh water all around you.
There is an incredible zoo. (Woodland Park)
You can see one of the most beautiful snow peaked mountains that you will ever see in your life. (Mt. Rainier, spectacular!!)
You can see orca, up close and personal.
You won't have a daily thunderstorm.
You won't have to deal with humidity, that is, unless of course it rains.
I lived in Seattle, and I've been to Florida many times. Trust me, Seattle is the way to go!!
The islands aren't just islands, they are a way of life. You can't beat the San Juan's.
So much to do, so little time!!
You will fall in love.
If you like coffee, try Seattle's Best. (I'm not referring to Starbucks)

The music scene around Seattle is one of the best anywhere - and you wont hear a single Jimmy Buffet song. Also, if you like scuba diving, we have ice cold, fishless, merky water with almost no visibility - you can't find that in Florida! If you go down to the Seattle waterfront you'll find lots and lots of little shops that sell coffee cups and key chains that say "Seattle" on them, those are a rare find in S. Florida. You can visit the Experience Music Project in Seattle Center - over priced, but cool... really cool! I usually avoid tourist traps like the plague, but the Seattle Underground Tour is worth seeing. Oh yeah, and don't miss the rafting, hiking and waterfalls - that's the best part of this state!!!
