Are there any inexpensive hotels at the Sea Tac airport in Seattle that offer shuttles into downtown Seattle??

Travel Info
I thought that I might be able to save some money by not staying downtown if anyone had a shuttle.

Travel Tips
I don't know of any that provide shuttles to downtown - most are doing shuttles to Seatac Airport, not to downtown.

But the Metro bus system goes from that area to downtown Seattle - if the bus isn't near the hotel you choose, use their shuttle to get back to the airport and pick up the local bus to downtown there.

Don't know how long you'll be staying, but a standard non-stop drive from Seatac to downtown is about 30 minutes with no traffic. The local bus will take longer and is less convenient. Might just be better to find a hotel near Seattle Center or downtown if your time is limited.

Oops -- I misunderstood the question when I initially posted my answer, so I've edited it with (hopefully) correct information.

The link I initially posted to http://www.resideo.com/us/washington/sea... is still a good site to check first, as you can quote and sort the results by price or by their distance from the airport...then you can read about each hotel for more info.

The Sleep Inn SeaTac Airport ( http://www.resideo.com/32955500.hotel... ) offers shuttle service to restaurants within a 5-mile radius...probably not exactly what you're looking for!

Unfortunately, I think the only other hotels that would offer shuttle service to downtown would probably be more per night than you're looking to spend, and you'd end up spending more money doing that than if you'd stay cheap and use taxi service -- which is probably your best bet.

Good luck!

Most downtown hotels would offer free shuttle rides to/from the airport, however then you are looking at minimum $200 per night.

There are not many free lunches around here, they get you one way or another.

I would recommend staying downtown as the view is way better than staying out at SeaTac on International Boulevard, plus no airport noise downtown.
Go back to the airport, take the city bus - I think its lines 174 and 194. Dirt cheap and reliable. Just did it last month.
