I have never had a bad or late flight with either Easyjet or Ryanair. I have flown numerous times with both airlines. They are cheap, no frills and get me there safely.

Most airlines wants to be on time. Usually, it is the traffic condition at the airport that may cause departure delays. The busier the airport, the more important it is to be on time to meet the narrow given departure window. Otherwise, the plane will be subjected to delay thereafter.
