Visit Chatsworth House and gardens, the caves at Castleton,The Pudding shop and riverside walk in Bakewell,Spa in Buxton, Matlock Bath (the only "seaside" type promenade inland) Cat and Fiddle Inn on the Buxton to Macclesfield road (2nd highest pub in England ) endless walks in the valleys and hills.

Go on some walks in the beautiful countryside.

Walking mainly. Think of it as a shorter, less wet version of the Lakes.
