What is it like at Winkobank, Sheffield ? |
Travel Info I am thinking of buying a house in Winkobank, Sheffield. Can anyone tell me what the area is like? Travel Tips Wincobank...just up the hill from Meadowhall - but has a local media-induced reputation as 'underclassville'. The boxer (or is that ex-boxer? Ex-con, for sure) Naseem Hamed trained there. Half the council house-stock seem boarded and over-run with kids and rats, so I'm told. Others it is very hilly It is Wincobank! Like every where else it has good areas and bad areas. It is fairly industrialised in that area but it is also close to Meadowhall. But be warned pick the wrong area and it looks like the SAS have been chasing the taliban through there and then let the bomb squad have a go! A shi**hole in more ways than one. Choose a different location! it is quite posh. but can be a bit rough. id go for i It's handy for Junction 34 M1 |
