Travel Info Whats so special abt san francisco? Travel Tips I grew up in "The City" as we like to call it. For a long time it was one of the most tolerant city's in the US. Some very remarkable people have called it home. I am very proud to say I grew up there. The landscape is unusual in the fact that it is hilly in some parts,and very flat in others. It can be cold and foggy in the sunset district,and hot and sunny in the mission district. A distance of only a couple of miles. We have the ocean on one side, the bay on the other,and the golden gate on the other side. The cable cars are left over from the 19th century and are loved dearly. Golden gate park is a huge park full of trees and lakes and playgrounds. During the mid 60s, it was the place to be.I remember people coming from all over the world to be here.I have friends from many different countries and they all say the same thing,This is one of the best places to live. It's an unuseual place and I hope you may see it some time. Others San Francisco not at Singapore. |
