Where is the best place and cheapest place to live in Singapore? |
Travel Info I'm moving to Singapore in a few weeks and was wondering where to live that means that is cheap and nice. any suggestions Travel Tips bukit timah Others Pulau Ubin. I like the East Coast, Siglap etc. I dont know how prices are there, but in comparison to London I think the whole place seems cheap. depending what are you going to do in Singapore? work or for pleasure? if work, you'll usually find around that vinicity where you work. if you are talking about renting a hdb flat, I think Woodlands or Kranji that area would be cheaper .. also quicker escape to Malaysia! for pleasure, if its cheap, try Geyland area.. red light district of Singapore nonetheless, there are some interesting eateries. There are various mosque, churches and Chinese temple that offer temporary shelter for a few nights Dear Jon, Cheap just don't go hand in hand with Singapore. Excuse my fellow Singaporean if their ans are not what you want.lol Cheap Houses may means there is some inconvenience with the area such as no markets,shops and less public transport. Best if you look for a place near to your workplace,as you can save up on transportation. Go to HDB directly for rentals or buying of houses. Any area in Singapore is always nice and foods at hawker centres are always cheap. Wish you all the best in Singapore! You are coming at the wrong time. We are experiencing a property boom here. Property prices and rentals have sky rocketed to a dizzying level. It will be near impossible to get cheap rent/ property at good locations. Good luck! |
