HIV comes from a few places, Blood transfusions, sharing needles, and bodily fluids.

Any body fluid transferred through any method from an infected person to a second person can pass the HIV virus to the other person and then they do the same with another and it keeps going.

The most common and most advertised method is through sexual intercourse either via conventional methods or otherwise, and intravenous drug users sharing needles which causes the body fluids to go from one person to another.

However, sexual intercourse is not the only method, you can also get it through oral sex, anal sex and various other methods of transferring body fluids.

That's why ambulance attendants always use protection when giving mouth to mouth resuscitation to an injured person, in case the injured person has HIV. It can be passed on that way also.

well either they get it after an infected bloodtransfusion (but htis is a REALLY rare case)/or you are a drug addict and you use unsafe needles from other users (who are infected witht eh HIV virus but most cases you just get it after having unprotected sex... BE SMART AND USE A CONDOM
