That depends on where the zoo is located!
The only common animals in all zoos are the visitors.
Lions & tigers & bears - oh my!
(Well, it's late!)
I know there are no Belly bears, easter seals, mad cows, gummy worms, or honet bunnies
Every zoo is different......like the one in SD will have alot more aquatic life (fish, whales, turtles, etc) than say the St. Louis zoo would because of location.

However, most zoo's will have the following....

Lions, tigers, bears, penguins, giraffes, elephants, monkeys, apes, kangaroos, snakes, birds, and zebra's.

Most zoo's usually also have a petting zoo with Goats, pony's and other small friendlier natured animals that usually don't scare the smaller kids as bad.
