Depends on what kind of visit. If you want the real taste of Singapore...then I suggest you spend the way middle-classes here spend. For instance, If you eat at a food court or hawker centre,3 meals/day it would cost you ($3 X 3) + ($1.20 X 3) = $12.60 or more So 5 days would be $63 on food alone. You might wanna go shopping in neighbouring shopping malls and spend about $500 within the 5 days stay.If you wanna go to those expensive malls in Orchard you've gotta bring a lot more money. And of course you wouldn't wanna miss out on the fun stuffs or museums visits or try extraordinary things.So put aside another $50-$100 for those activities.There you have it...do the calculations yourself,it shouldn't exceed more than $800 which is around USD$500? Have fun! if u are intending to just eat hawker food the entire time each meal can cost from $2-$6. for food court $4 onwards per meal. and restaurants more than $20 and buffets and hotels..... transport is another thing. you can either cab or take buses. each trip range from 1 to $2. dont forget shopping too ;) It depends on the standard you expect, luxury or bare-thread living? If I were on a holiday in Singapore, I would spend sooo much money! Daytime, shopping shopping shopping. Singapore is not known as shopping paradise for nothing, you know? Nighttime, I would definitely go bar-hopping at Boat Quay. Eski bar, Penny Black, Karaoke pubs, nice! Drinking copious amounts of alcohol is a must. Then after, vomiting in the beautiful Singapore river. Must try! Please dun attempt to swim naked in Singapore River though, Pink tried to and was embarrassed. The next day, I would go for spa in town, after that, food. The famous chicken rice, chilli crabs, satay etc... I would bring at least $1000! |
