The casino gives you the impression that you might get lucky. but usually it doesn't happen, and if you have an addictive personality you just bet all your winnings again anyway. But exactly because the promise of riches is not fulfilled you come back: some day it just HAS to happen. Actually some casino games can be played at a profit if you know how. Blackjack for example, by counting cards (actually not allowed in casinos). And poker by playing better than the other people at the table. But mostly it's for the reasons above. Others For average people they always though they can win back their money. This is only apply when you are gamble in small group, the luck will transfer from one person to another in a mater of time. However, in casino the luck work difference, you might win some money in poker, but you lost all in others. Its a form of entertainment to some people..Its all in the name of fun..
