It is making the ice in the artice area melt and will eventually flood the world. Like the guy said above me, How long can you tread water? If all the ice in the Artic Ocean were to melt, which is highly unlikely, it wouldn't do much of anything to world sea levels for the simple reason that the ice is already floating in the world's ocean water.
