EZ-Link Card? |
Travel Info I got myself an ezlink card when I was on a vacation in Sg last year. I still have it with me but there's no more credit in it. I was wondering if I can use the same card when I go back to Sg and just have it filled with credits again or do I have to go and get a new card? Does the card have an expiration date? How can I check how much money there is in it the next time? Travel Tips ya.. u can just add in credits to it...but check wid the mrt ppl first...coz recently there is such implementation that ezlink that isnt top up are require to get a new 1 or sth.... as for check the value..just go to one of the machines at the side...pop in the card and press the "check value" sign...u can oso ask the mrt ppl for help!... i am from singapore...! Others I think there's no expiry date, so just top it up with more credit. U can check how much credit is left by inserting the card into the ticketing machine at all MRT stations. I don't think there's expiry date for Ez-link card. And most probably you can top-up your card with credits again when u return to Singapore. You don't have to buy a new card. :) When u return to Singapore, you can head to the nearest MRT station and go to the service counter to check how much money is in there. If you know how to use the devices over there, u could just top-up the card by yourself. Hope i'd helped you!Email me if you have any other queries. :D I'm a singaporean. Hehe! yes, u still can use the same card.u just need to top up the value of the card at the machines in the station. Yes, ez link cards do have an xpiry date, if i'm not wrong it's around 3 years. as for the checking of the value in your cards. it's e-Z! u can use the machines at the station to do so to check them.u can even go to the touch screen counters in Mcdonalds to check the value of your card. hope this helps. :) Yes you can use the same card, it has a deposit value. The expiration date is many years like 5 years but I'm not too sure. Since you only got it last year, I'm sure it can be used this year. Each time you enter or exit, the value will be shown on the display, you can also check the value by slotting the card into the top-up machines available at the stations. I think there is a 5 year expiry, so do come back Singapore to get a refund within 5 years =) You can check the amount of credits left at any MRT station. |
