What are the differences between Singapore and Malaysia petrol other than price? |
Travel Info What are the differences between Singapore and Malaysia petrol other than price? Travel Tips Singapore is a developed country and Malaysia is a developing country Others singapore importing petrol while malaysia exporting petrol The octane levels are different. The common ones in Singapore is 95 and 98 and 100 In Malaysia, I think 92, 96 and 102 (different brands have different nos). Whatever they are, still worthwhile to top up because of the hugh price difference. Before you try to top up in Malaysia, you are not allowed to drive over the SG border into Malaysia without at lease 3/4 of a tank to prevent you from buying too much petrol there. It's definitely more expensive in Singapore. Not much difference. Grades in Malaysia is about 95 to 98, while Singapore has 92, 95 and 98. Malaysian petrols are unleaded, same as Singapore. So, petrol is about the same. Singapore petrol is pure to its octane, while Malaysian petrol add kerosene's into it Why keng song why don't you buy some petrol and do some research rather then asking in this forum. |
