Before you do too much research into this, you can not hold a dual citizenship with any other country so if you want to be a citizen of Singapore, you have to relinquish your citizenship from your home country. Is it really worth it?? I'm an expat here and there's NO WAY I'd give up my American citizenship to be an SG citizen. Good luck in whatever you choose.
