I hav seen hawkers recylcing drinks at food stalls,will i get AIDS drinking other ppls saliva if theyhav AIDS? |

The HIV virus cannot survive oustide of the body, even if the blood were to be mixed with backwash,the virus would not be there because the tempreature is not appropiate for its survival. people say no but consider this,what if the last person had a cut in his mouth,backwashed,and you had a cut in your mouth?or i seeps into your gumline?i dont care what anybody says.it may have never happened,and it maybe never will,but im convinced its conceivably possible. AIDS will not b spread thru saliva...however, other disease such as herpes simplex virus aka cold sores or blisters and hepatitis can b spread thru saliva. AIDS can onli b spread thru -sexual intercourse or oral sex(if there is open wound in ur mouth) -drug abuse thru sharing of infected needles -blood transfusion -infected mum to foetus in the womb So...u should not b worry abt aids..but other viruses like herpes n hepatitis.so get urself vaccinated against hepatitis if u eat out often! |
