Moving to SINGAPORE, school help? |
Travel Info Does anyone know of a new or alternative school in Singapore that is not so cost prohibitive, so to speak? Seems like most are well over 8000 SG/semester? For Primary school? ! Anyone know of a more reasonable school or can you recommend one with multi-cultural kids? Travel Tips dont go to SAS, singapore american school, it cost about 20000 grand or mayb even 40000 grand for the whole year...US dollars....try OFS, oversead family school, which is located right next to orchard road, and its half of SAS, and it really isnt a bad school at all....they have about 500 students and theyre all international and they teach IB.... if you want another school there's ISS, international school of singapore, it located near queenstown, and its cheaper than OFS, about a thousand dollars cheaper, and theres 200 kids, you have to wear a uniform unlike OFS and SAS, and i personally do not recommend ISS, its not that great of a school, but the kids arent bad.... theres canadian school, australian school, german, and french schools, but i would recommend.....i should know since i went to OFS last year and ISS as well.... hope i helped.....if youre not singaporrean, i wouldnt recommend your kids going to a local school...... Cedar Girls' Secondary School, brilliant teachers, especially good in niche of sports and performing arts. Don't go to Hwa Chong Institution, Raffles G or I- they'll get bullied.
