Were are the best places for bargains in Singapore? |
Travel Info Stopping over in Singapore on our way to Australia and want to do a bit of shopping while were there, is it a cheap or expensive place to buy clothes and gadgets, thanks in advance. Travel Tips no idea!!! good luck and i hope you have a fantastic time (with lots of bargains)xx Others i dont thinkso it s much expensive but u dunt have to go to big malls they r ofcoure expensive u can find small things of gift items in Daiso where everythg cost abt 2 doll and u can find clothes in Bugis , yew Tee etc Sun plaza Singapore is not cheap! I've been several times with people who wanted to buy bargain cameras; it's just a headache. Unless your an experienced haggler you should seriously think about buying what ever you need in duty free, it'll be about the same price and a lot less hassle. suntec city vivio city BUGIS ST is a place for fashion like clothes, accessories etc. and you can bargain at some shops. (= the cons are that the place may be quite hot and sutffy. during weekends, it is quite crowded too. but definitely worth the price because the things are so cheap. however, maybe the clothes are more for asians. for gadgets, i assume you are referring to IT stuffs. maybe you can try Sim Lim Sq (located near bugis st) or Funan IT mall. and maybe for some well-known brands, you can try Orchard Rd. It ranges from LV to the local brands. and fret not, orchard road is a whole stretch of roads. there are many shopping malls. try paragon or heeren. BUGIS STREET!!! It's the only place in Singapore where good bargains can be made. Clothes, it's the number 1. For gadgets it's sim lim square, somewhere near bugis street, you can just take a cab, it's a few blocks away. Have fun :) |
