Travel Info Is Singapore a Xenophobic nation? Provide reasons for your answers.? Travel Tips yes Others I would say that it is not. Singapore is actually diverse (especially for an Asian nation). Singaporeans can trace their heritage back to China, Malaysia, India, and many other nations in Asia. The culture reflects this diversity, as well. Also, Singapore is a highly developed metropolis, so many Singaporeans are used to seeing foreigners from Japan, United States, and European nations doing business (and touring). They are not,because population mostly migrants from many other countries and majority speak English.a lot of expatriates working here are from UK, US,European countries. Not judging by the number of foreigners living and working there. I think no, Singapore isn't xenophobic. All you have to do is to see the hordes of local women dying to date a white man. If that's not proof I don't know what is! yes yes |
