Travel Info Is Singapore a Xenophobia nation? Provide reasons for your answers.? Travel Tips yes Others I went there and it didn't seem that way at all, they seemed pretty open and interesting. The government there is more restrictive, so people aren't as "open" as in the U.S. for instance, however I loved it there. Nope - just look around you and you'll see people of various ethnicities working together, studying together, socialising, eating together and eating different food from cultures not their own(a daily thing for many, if not most). However, every society will always have some who are prejudiced and fearful of outsiders. The government has also repeatedly welcomed foreign talent as there is a shortage of workers. Of course a minority will always take offence to this - due to their own insecurities. But there's really nothing to worry about - come see for yourself! yes yes yes NoNoNo... Very multcultral country and lots of tourism. Everyone is very friendly. |
