Need to know what is the requirement to apply a permanent resident in Singapore? |
Travel Info can anyone tell me, im a work permit holder here and i just had o'level education and my salary range $1000 to $1300. need to know if i were qualify. thank you Travel Tips Non-Singaporeans can become Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs) by obtaining an Entry Permit. An application for an Entry Permit is an application for Singapore Permanent Residence. The following categories of foreigners are eligible to submit applications: * Spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years old) of a Singapore Citizen (SC)/Permanent Resident (SPR); * Aged parents of a Singapore Citizen; * P, Q or S work pass holders; * Investors/Entrepreneurs; * Hong Kong residents who satisfy certain guidelines can apply for permanent residence by submitting applications through SMC Management Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore. From what I know Claire, to be able to get a work pass or employment pass (those are your P, Q and S pass) your salary needs to be at least $1800 (thats in singapore dollars) . If you need to know more, go to this site: http://app.ica.gov.sg/serv_pr/per_res/ap... Hope this helps and have a nice day! Source(s): Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority - Singapore Other Travel Tips You need to check with ICA. Well I know some of them can get it very easy but some not. We cannot tell until you summit the application then the ICA will let you know. Now you can try their "Naturalisation Eligibility Tool" first, but you must fill in your contact info. Anyway if you want to apply why not try this, then dont need to go to the ICA. This is just a guide anyway. Hi Claire, I am a Singapore PR myself. Similar to what Chaw said, now it's a lot easier to at least get a rough picture whether your possibility to get a PR is somewhat "good" or "not so good". The new tool is called "Naturalisation Eligibility Tool". You can simply go to ICA website and try it yourself. I included the ICA website on the source below. One thing though, the tool is only meant to be used to find out your chance for PR or even citizen. It does not guarantee approval for it. Hope it helps Claire! http://app.ica.gov.sg/index.asp... welcome |
