Taka Diamonds not of high quality.?

I would like to know which jewellery shop is best for diamond jewellery? There are a few jewellery shops : Lee Hwa, Soo Kee, SK Jewellery and Taka Jewellery.

I did a survery and i realised that Taka's diamond Jewellery' is the cheapest! Heard from friends that Taka sell lower grade diamonds. Is it true?

Can some of you give some comments? and where to get good quality diamond ring? Thanks alot.

There are different grades on diamonds, including the cut and colour +++ (the 5Cs). Hence grade of the diamonds will determine the price.

Hmmm... i believe if you look at the colour of the diamond with naked eyes at Taka, you'll see a yellowish stain or some black specs, which belongs to the lower grade of diamonds. There are also shops selling the lower range diamonds.

Good quality diamond ring, depends on the price range that you are look for. Lee Wah, Goldheart, or Apsial (a more up-market Lee Wah). If you are looking for an even higher end, there are a few shops at Paragon. Can't recall their names but you'll be able to find DeBeers diamond from there too.

I think every diamond shop have different grades of diamond... depending on your budget, you can get the highest or the lowest quality and carat / size... you can clarify all the C's from the certificate...

If you notice their advertisements, it is true that those shops you mentioned, always have very competitive price and marketing method... but again, those models advertised look wow and big on the pictures, but in reality it's sooo small...

I agree with the previous answerer, try those diamond shops at paragon, like Larry Jewellery... and Diamond Industry also worth a visit...

Just set your budget right... a lot of times, once you are in the shop, it's very easy to fall in love with piece(s) way above your budget... well well well
taka jewellery doesnt sell imitation. in fact all jewellery shop in spore doesnt sell fake stuff. every diamond have different grade. if u wan gd diamond ..u can find in taka jewellery... u jus ask for GIA diamonds which is sold worldwide...jus specify wat grade of diamond u wan... :) i did purchase gd ,clear diamonds fr taka b4. :) jus tat they also sell lower grade diamond doesnt mean tat the stall sell only lousy diamonds. u can always ask for better ones. even the better ones r priced lower for the same grade at other jewel shop.
