I have 3 to 4 friends to tour me in Singapore..Is it okay? |
Travel Info I am not gonna pay hotel or anything because I will be staying in my friends house..But they are 3 people in the house. I assume all of them will come to tour me.. I just have a limited budget.. How big is Singapore? Is there many place to go? I am a little bit anxious on the expenses because I am not familiar on the cost of living there. Travel Tips Been there....It not really that expensive but I keep watch on your spending. It very western as far as civilization goes, it has most everything you see in the usa, for example, resturant, shopping, bars and so forth. Singapore is an island, smaller than Hawaii........Have Fun!!!!! Others You should look up Singapore Lonely Planet, they are GREAT travel books and give just about everything and anything you want to know about the country www.lonelyplanet.com/worldguid... You'll get around just fine in Singapore. The living expenses aren't that bad, since hawker food is really cheap, and public transport is relatively affordable. There are many places to go to if you're looking for great food or shopping (Orchard Road, Adam Road food centre etc). Do ask your friends to bring you around. It's a really vibrant island we've got here. Singapore isn't exactly big, but you can definitely find places of interest! :) You could totally visit fort canning park. If you're the kind that likes to go clubbing, try st james power station and the cannery at sentosa. Orchard road and marina square is highly recommended for shopping. If you're on a budget for shopping, try bugis village at bugis street. yes the post "have fun" is what i thought was perfect! I always take full advantage of a offer to stay with friends in another country. you really will get idea of what life is like there and you have people you know and trust and maybe can help you out if you have money issues. if you have a credit card like visa or amex you will have a safety net with one just in case you have trouble.
