Many of them said the application for Cadet Pilot position can actually take up to as long as about 3 - 6 mths' time. And for applicants, there is an age limit for above 25 or 26 yrs old, so they're able to join due to some strict rules SIA has laid down. Also, you must complete your NS first before joining as a pilot. As for applicants who undergo through Singapore Air Force during their NS period, they'll be prioritized in consideration first for the application, as compared to those who served in Army, Civil Defence & Navy.
