Travel Info We're going on holiday and were wondering if anyone has had some good/bad experiences to share. Any suggestions about tours, clubs, places to visit (or not to visit)? Anyone stayed in the Fragrance Hotel Emerald? Travel Tips never Others Singapore is great city to experience. You should have a drink at the Long Bar in the Raffles Hotel, it's where the Singapore sling was invented. The shops at Clark Quay (pronounced key) has alot to do or you can explore the east end of the island, great seafood restaurants. Be warned that everything in Singapore is very expensive. the main shopping belt very expensive I have been there twice and I loved it. The cleanest city I have ever visited.The people are friendly and there is plenty of sightseeing. Orchard Road has all the big stores, nightclubs, and restaurants. Great seafood! You will have a great time! yes i did before but i will never go there again.the place is nice but their peoples is very arrogant not very friendly like its neighbours(thailand,malaysia etc).one more singapore is not good place for family vacation. very expensiv no |
