Do u think spending 100 million on electronic bus timetables is correct?shld the 100 million be use to buy mor |
Travel Info more buses, buy more new buses instead ? is the 100 million a waste of commuters money ?? Travel Tips yup sure is a waste of communters money, then they will take the chance to increase the bus fares again, its wrong man!! they should really work out a cheaper solution. cheers Others Don't know how they'd work in Singapore, but they tried a similar scheme in the town I live in (UK) and it didn't work so they scrapped it. Personally I agree with you 100%. If think if that question was asked in my town, then most people would agree with you. spend the money, no one gives a damn anyway me would be great if the 100million is spent on research Parkinson, Alzheimer and other old age disease. Increase the number of buses is a short term solution. They are looking for a long term solution, i.e. electronic timetable. But frankly, no one know whether it work or not. Personally I feel they should open up the public bus market. This will definitely benefit the commuters more in term of competition. I believe no other place in the world, where so call "private owned" public transport company yet monopolised the market. They should use this money for more handicapped friendly buses. We are very behind compare to the rest of the world. |
