Travel Tips Being a singaporean malay.. i m very much appalled at the question and some of the answers here!! Not that there are no chinese in the soccer team. there are.. and i must say that they are kinda good at it too.. Soccer mainly is dominated by malays cos these young malay boys loves the sport.. While most young chinese boys loves playing basket ball..' It makes me wonder whether you are one of those that wish u were in the soccer team but we just too afraid to try it out for yourself... Think about it pal.. Sport knows no boundaries.. that includes race!! Others I'll a Singaporean Chinese. Just to tell you that , some sports are dominated by certain race, e.g basket ball , table tennis, swimming, bowling and many others, are played by mainly the Chinese and not soccer. For your info. because malays have nothing to do, so they play soccer, better than lepak here n there.. chinese a.. aiyo.. damn busy making money o.. thats why no time for football.. chinese only watch n shout.. but dont wear the boot. It's because Chinese go for academics much more than sports. In my neighborhood, for example, the soccer and baseball teams never had shortage of applicants until the Chinese moved in. Now the teams struggle to recruit players. Because they are Singaporeans! What does race have to do with anything?? indians play me indian me like football very much |
