Travel Tips
The basic cost of living in Singapore can be as low as a few hundred dollars a month. If you are not a huge spender, with a $3k salary, it is entirely possible to save up to $2k a month. If you decide to drive, take away $1k from the equation.

Others
You can live in Singapore very cheap. Public transportation is inexpensive and very efficient. Eating at ubiquitous hawker centers will save you lots of money, and the food is good. Live with roommates to save more money.
Just stay away from alcohol. Alcohol is rather expensive in Singapore.
I am surprise that a reputed MNC in Singapore only paying $3k.
No wonder Singaporean are not biting into it.
