Should Singapore organize Formula One Grand Prix? |
Travel Info Do you think F 1 bring any good for Singaporeans as a whole? Travel Tips Not much economic good as most cities that have F1 lose a lot of money and have to be bailed out by taxpayers. In the end, who's paying for it? All you get is a few days of international exposure on TV and being able to boast that Singapore has a FI race. For the good that this brings, I think it's way too expensive. Others Its is definitely tons better than organizing the once in a lifetime IMF meeting. Suntec city retailers lost big time when the whole place is cordoned off. F1 brings in 100% hotel occupancies, air planes charters ferrying the racing machines in and out. If we can find land to host Asian Aerospace for a few days every few years, can't think of a reason why not in Singapore. no no i dont understand ur question no that's impossible. Singapore is too small to accomodate a chess game, what then F1 Grand Prix? that tiny island ain't big enough. wow are you guys jealous of Malaysia! |
