Why does South Africa not change her name to Moan Africa? |
Travel Info I have noticed that we South Africans have become Springbok champions one and all at moaning:- The blacks moan about the whites because they don't understand that democracy means you don't get everything given to you on a plate. The dutchmen moan about the blacks and cry injustice all over the place, ja, pot calling the kettle black if you pardon the pun. Then they have the convenient old excuse of blaming the rooineks as well, except the rooineks all live in London, Sydney or Toronto where they moan about the blacks and the New South Africa and claim never to have been racists. The coloured moan, tja, o's kallards moan man but we does it thru heep hawp by skreaming gamstyle rrep into a makrophone what we has gedief.... And while everyone is moaning about the price of biltong, each other and the Bokke I have to wait, and am still waiting, two years for my ID book which I renewed to arrive from Pretoria, Tshwane, Kwa-watse kak is die nou or whatever else they want to call it!!!! Travel Tips i laughed when i read this, although the situation is really not funny, its true , if we supposed to be a rainbow nation, im still getting soaked in the thundershowers before that. the blacks hate the whites and the whites hate the blacks and so on and so on. if we are supposed to be getting equal rights, where the hell did they buy the scale, in a junk sale? i nearly got shot the other day by getting stuck in a taxi shootout. iv been mugged and they found a 16 year old girl raped and beaten in the feild near where i live. i wanted my children to be born here and grow up with trips to the kruger park but im seriously considering my own and my families safety now because no one can actually get along. its very sad but honestly this country is going down the tubes very very fast. Others voel jy nou beter...lol i totally agree call it what you like. you've got a beautiful amazing country there. you should all pull together. appreciate it. and what is coloured please? i can see blacks and whites. coloureds are?????? Katie!! Coloureds are a whole race on their own. Mixed race as they call it in UK and no coloured is not an insult as they think in UK but is actually a race- like black and white and indian. They call themselves coloureds and actually are just that. OH!! and one more thing Katie you can only comment on a country and how one should feel about it if you actually live in it and experience what we do. Now to answer this Q. You are so right!! Its like people complaining about the weather when it rains its a prob when its sunny its a prob!! I dont understand it!! But i will say we have alot to be unhappy about. As for you ID i would say stop calling them and actually go there and ask to speak to the person in charge. I had the same problem and everytime i called they said two weeks.and they still waiting for it to come from Pretoria. When my father went there and asked to speak to the lady in charge it turned out that it was actually on the system ages ago and all they had to do was print it but were too damn lazy to do so.So we had waited for over 3months for something that was there all along. Dont take it lying down go to the offices and speak to the main guy no the teller!! And im in Durban so you know!! All the best!! Thats it let it all out And then welcome to South africa where every criminal is treated like a king Moan will get you now where because the people in the higher positions has never been taught to listen so moan let it all out, hopefully you feel better But look on the bright side when you have a bad day at least there is the government, the blacks or whites, coloureds etc to blame it on So dont be stupid dont take the blame on yourself EISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
