I'm seeing townhouse developments going up all over the place - and they're being FILLED before they're even finished!! Our budget surplus SHOULD be used to upgrade the infrastructure in order to support the higher occupancies!!! Our roads and sewerage systems etc weren't originally built to accommodate these kinds of volumes. No, then it can too easily be manipulated by people continuously using flexi-bond facilities for purposes OTHER than housing and simply letting giving additional tax rebates to people with high risk lending behaviour. In theory it sounds like a great idea - not sure how it can be sorted that its not manipulated though and I do think that infrastructure all over the country needs to be addressed continuously. Its always those with money who manage to manipulate the system and ruin a great idea for everyone. Perhaps it should only apply to certain levels of initial loans. Then perhaps it would help those its susposed to like first time buyers or low income folk. do you think that would work? |
