Who on the SA section is self employed?

Travel Info
Reason; About 2 weeks ago there was a report that more and more ppl in SA were opting to work for themselves, and yet if you look at careers 24.com, jobmail etc you can see that there are hundreds of jobs offered for graduates especially in the engineering, and other applied science fields as well as game rangers chefs etc, and yet ppl say they cant get jobs

Travel Tips
I am employed to the extent that I have a boss. But he is family and I get a lot of perks. Like I made up my own dress code and I take lunch and coffee breaks whenever the hell I damn please. My dress code basically reads: if it covers up the essentials and keeps me warm or cool - dependant on the weather - I can wear it. If I want to wear plakkies, I will.

I'm hoping to be self employed within the next two years!
I already own the business, but unfortunately I still have to keep my job while it finds it's feet. (The cost of advertising is crippling!!)
we got a data center, some months are better than others, we work mainly on contracts.
Have been at this for 8yrs now.
Still going strong.
my life...
I'm a telecoms consultant. Maybe the people with those qualifications have left SA because the salaries and lifestyle elsewhere is better. Not everybody in SA has a degree, and this disqualifies them for a lot of those positions automatically.Affirmative action also prevents many whites to apply for these jobs.
Gunner; You are right. I see thousands of jobs every month in Sunday newspapers. But we are told that people can't find jobs.

With regard to your question - I am. It's not because there are not jobs - it's because I wanted to!!!
I work for a boss
